Parineeti Chopra calls Priyanka Chopra a soldier after daughter Malti’s birth

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas have welcomed their baby girl Malti Marie home. On Mother’s Day, the actress took to social media to share the very first glimpse of her daughter and it took everyone by surprise. Since then, their close friends and celebrities have been showering them with love and good wishes. In the photo, the new parents can be seen cradling their baby.

Priyanka’s newborn spent 100 days in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU) after premature birth. This was no doubt a stressful time for the actress and now, her cousin Parineeti Chopra has shared just how strong she has been over the past three months. In a comment, she wrote, “Seeing the two of you like this the last three months has been both hard and inspiring. Mimi didi – I saw a soldier in the hospital – You. And little BD has taught us so much already and she doesn’t even know it! Chalo now it’s time to start spoiling her. ” Looks like Parineeti is already gearing up to be the fun aunt to Malti.

Anushka Sharma also took to the comments section to share her wishes. She wrote, “Lots of love to you strong mumma! And love and blessings to the little one.” Meanwhile, Sonam Kapoor who is expecting her first child wrote, “Lots of love to all three.”

Priyanka Chopra Jonas and Nick Jonas had their first baby via surrogacy. She was welcomed home by the couple, Priyanka’s mother Madhu Chopra and mother-in-law Denise Jonas.

On Sunday, the actress shared a post that reads, “On this Mother’s Day we can’t help but reflect on these last few months and the rollercoaster we’ve been on, which we now know, so many people have also experienced. 100 plus days in the NICU, our little girl is finally home. Every family’s journey is unique and requires a certain level of faith, and while ours was a challenging few months, what becomes abundantly clear, in retrospect, is how precious and perfect every moment is. We are overjoyed that our little girl is finally home, and just want to thank every Doctor, nurse and specialist at Rady Children’s La Jolla and Cedar Sinai, Los Angeles, who were there selflessly every step of the way. Our next chapter begins now, and our baby is truly a badass. Let’s get it MM! Mommy and Daddy love you. “
