Ever since it was announced that Deepika Padukone is part of the competition jury at the Cannes Film Festival this year, fans knew they were in for a treat. Between her first red carpet look and her numerous appearances, the actress is making waves for all the right reasons. Apart from her, several Indian celebrities including actors and filmmakers are gracing the gala with their presence. Now, a video of Deepika, Tamannaah Bhatia, Pooja Hegde and Urvashi Rautela dancing to Ghoomar has emerged.
On the second day of the Cannes Film Festival, Mame Khan sang the popular folk song Ghoomar. Deepika who has played Queen Padmavati in the film Padmavat broke into a dance as Tamannaah, Pooja and Urvashi joined in to do the Ghoomar step.

Deepika can be seen wearing a black ensemble while Tamannaah wore a multicolored dress. Pooja and Urvashi picked white and black respectively for their Day two attires.
Earlier on Day one, Deepika Padukone made headlines for her stunning black and gold saree in which she walked the red carpet. Deepika Padukone is part of an eight-member jury pool led by French star Vincent Lindon. It also includes Rebecca Hall, Jasmine Trinca, Joachim Trier, Noomi Rapace and more. The actress appeared alongside her fellow jury members at a photocall and the opening ceremony of the film festival. Talking about the momentous feat, she said, “We have a long way to go as a country. I feel really proud as an Indian to represent the country but when we look back at the 75 years of Cannes there are a handful of Indian films or actors or talent that has been able to make it. ”
India is the country of honor at the Cannes Film Market (Marché du Film). Others making the country proud at the film event are R Madhavan, AR Rahman, Nawazuddin Siddiqui, Kamal Haasan and more.
